She knows how the bring the hot, sexy and the holy moly I need an ice cube to cool down or at least a new pair of panties. Depraved is and extremely hot second chance, kinky read. Gabrielle is feisty and strong. JD is hot, demanding...he intrigues me. You can feel the heat and passion between Gabrielle and JD even after all the years apart. There's something building and just wow the explosion when they come together. The suspense that surrounds this book will keep you glued to the pages trying to figure out what the heck is going on. I loved every minute of this book. I can't wait for the next one for more JD and Gabrielle.

Eva Charles has given us a suspenseful and romantic story that is filled with family secrets, lies and deceptions. JD is hard to like but as I got to know him, I realized that he has a public persona that is vastly different from how he is in private. I stayed up late one night to finish the book and after turning the last page, I found it hard to go to sleep. I needed and wanted the book to keep going but I will to have wait; book two of the duet, “Deliveredâ€, comes out in March.
Devoured. I devoured this book. In one sitting. And I need more!I have not read anything by Eva Charles before but if this is what I can look for in the rest of her writing, consider me her number 1 fan!JD is HOT. I love a man that is in control like he is...yet has a little bit of a soft side when it comes to Gabrielle and those he loves. He shows the people who are important to him his true side and yet both sides are equally appealing.Gabrielle is a very strong and smart female lead and was written very well. Her chemistry with JD is of course off the charts. So much going on with her and her family.There is so much mystery and underlying drama here that I was addicted from the start. Readers can count on being pulled in and held captive. Eva Charles does this thing where she gives you a little and then pulls back...gives a little more and then pulls back. It's the best kind of torture.Speaking of torture...this is a cliffhanger. And now I wait for the second book in this duet. I may just read this one again while I wait, it was that good!This book is getting ALL the stars from me. I can't wait for more!!!
This was my first Eva Charles book and what an introduction to this author it was!! The prologue is only a page but just that sucks you right into a story of the Devil's Spawn. It may come across as a typical arrogant, dominant man who wants to only control EVERYTHING but....there is much underlying background that will have you rooting for the devil in the end. JD (or Julian) has an agenda and while we begin to understand that agenda, we are not yet privy to everything going on in his mind or what drives him. Gabriella is a strong, successful woman who wants to live her life on her terms, but she becomes so drawn in by JD to the point where she can't say no, even not knowing why he does what he does. There are so many amazing characters that leave you wanting to know so much more about them that I am completely intrigued to read more. This story does end on an amazing cliffhanger that will leave you panting for the conclusion, but I am not in the least upset about it. I'm looking forward to reading much more from this author.
I’m predicting this will be one of my top reads of the year!Ms Charles is EVIL right down to her toes only giving you glimpses of what she wants you to see right until the end! So much intrigue here and don’t even get me started on the steamy sexy times! I’m still not sure if I have all the players right.Gabrielle has every reason to be skeptical, and you do feel every single emotion, when JD Wilder darkens her office after all this time. JD blows into her world with all the intensity and heat of the best tropical storm and nothing is what it seems.Jd’s brothers and his long time friend lighten this dark and twisty story with their own sense of family and comradery lulling you into some false sense of security. Do NOT be fooled though, Eva Charles paints quite the picture as I was anxiously waiting for the other shoe to drop - because it’s coming I’m sure of it! I need part 2 like yesterday!Ps. I’m going to be needing Gray, Chase and Smith’s stories.
