Feel like this book will take my bow hunting to the next level by making me more efficient and effective. Phil breaks down the science of draw length, draw weight and kinetic energy in an easy to understand and easy to apply method. I highly recommend!!!
Phil’s book gave me a simple process to understand my ethical limits for taking shots with my bow. It has also created a baseline which gives me quantifiable results to show my progress in my accuracy. Perhaps the best part is that I’m able to teach these concepts to my son so he can build the right habits and practice as he gets his start in Bowhunting.
Phil introduces you to the Alpha rule of thirds and the DEA method. He also encourages you to keep a shooting journal and shows you how you should be sighting your archery equipment in. I would recommend that every archery hunter except the very top 1% of successful ones read this book.
Really enjoyed the factual subject matter and realistic approach to improving archery success. I’ve been interested in Phil’s methodology, and visit his shop often, but am unable to attend seminars and classes due to time restrictions as a new parent. This book seems like a great way to bridge that gap. Highly recommend getting this book, especially at such a fair price! Can’t wait to implement these practices moving forward.
Great resource for those who are working on their Alpha pyramid and excellent reference for anyone working on building their bowhunting foundation.
This book is both organized and written extremely well. It is packed from cover to cover with a wealth of archery and bowhunting knowledge, and is a must read for beginning and advanced bowhunters alike.
This system has been the biggest help in shortening my learning curve for bowhunting. The Alpha system makes you sit and think about every piece to the puzzle. I can't recommend it enough!
