I am just beginning to read it. I believe it's a great idea being able to add yet another form of the arts to provide healing and therapy to bring enjoyment and a level of awareness and understanding to anyone and especially for those with emotional, mental, psychological, and physical disabilities.
Baker has done a lovely job consolidating decades of clinical research on therapeutic songwriting into an approachable, well-organized book.Her work will undoubtably help a new generation of aspiring helping professionals find common language to describe (and financially justify) the healing powers of songwriting.Bravo!
